Parameter Tool installation and parameters - ZKTeco

To Control Devices via IP you need first to download and install the tool, then use specific parameters to control the devices. this documents will contain two parts, one for the download and install, and the 2nd part for the parameters.

Part1: Download & Installation of the parameter tool

1- Download the parameter Tool:

2- Installation of the required dlls

After Downloading the parameter tool, navigate to the folder \SDK-Ver6.3.1.37\32bit.

Right click Register_SDK_x86.bat file and run it as an administrator.

After running the file as an administrator you will be prompted with a message indicating the success

of the process:

Part 2: Connecting the device and the parameters

Now to use the tool, you will need to connect to the device.

1- Connecting to the ZKTeco device:

To connect to the device, simply navigate to "parameters tool" Folder and open "SetParam.exe".

After openning the tool, enter the IP Address of the ZKTeco device and click "Connect"

2- Parameters to control the devices:

The following parameters can be used by "set" or "get" to either see the current config

or set it.

ICLOCKSVRURL: Used to set/get the server IP/Domain

IclockSvrPort: Used to set/get the server port.

AccessRuleType: Used to set/get the device type. 0 = attendance device, 1 = Access Device.
